TRC Resilience Message Program
Part of the TRC Resilience Toolkit is the Resilience Message Program featuring evidence-based, free, and adaptable messages that are intended to boost health worker resilience. They are designed to be delivered to a health worker’s mobile phone over the course of six months.
Considerable research and testing has shaped these messages. The Johnson & Johnson Center for Health Worker Innovation conducted a literature review on the multi-factorial problem of burnout among frontline health workers, focusing on the stressors that contribute to burnout. Having reviewed the evidence on resilience and conducting Health Worker Interviews to understand the shared experiences, motivations, and challenges of frontline health workers in low-resource settings, the messages were then drafted iteratively in a co-creative environment by the health communications agency - Thrive: words that change lives.
