4th International CHW Symposium- TRC-led Sessions

Session 1 – Initiating Mental Health Conversations and Driving Workplace Wellbeing with CHWs using the TRC Toolkit

Session 2 – Participatory Leadership and Evidence-Based Mental Health Support for CHWs

These sessions were led by TRC at the 4th International CHW Symposium held in November 2025.

Session 1 on Initiating Mental Health Conversations with CHWs introduces strategies within the TRC toolkit (https://trc.community/resources/trc-hcw-toolkit/) that can be practically applied in driving Wellbeing among CHWs.

Session 2 highlights our key learnings in advancing CHW mental health through co-production of the TRC Toolkit with HWs, managing a global CoP with CHWs as core partners in implementation, research, and leadership & in offering the “myTRC- Leadership is Ownership” program to equip CHWs as leaders in crisis-affected settings.
