How to participate
Click Join to Sign up for a Special Interest Group. You will receive an email with instructions and links to the SIG engagement spaces (padlets). We request that you refrain from sharing the links with anyone outside the SIG. Once you join, you are invited to
- Introduce yourself and your interests.
- Join discussions and ask questions.
- Share relevant resources, experiences, and opportunities.
- Contribute to collaborative projects when interested.
- Respect the community guidelines below.
As a participant, I agree to:
- Advance TRC’s mission by contributing knowledge, experience, ideas, and collaboration that support healthcare worker resilience.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally. Treat all members with dignity and kindness, regardless of role, geography, experience, or perspective.
- Example: “I see this differently because…” instead of “You’re wrong.”
- Critique ideas, not people. Challenge assumptions and proposals constructively while remaining solution-focused.
- Example: Provide evidence for an alternative approach rather than criticizing an individual.
- Share authentically and listen actively. Speak from personal experience, remain curious, and make space for other voices.
- Support equitable participation. Encourage contributions from members with different backgrounds, disciplines, and lived experiences.
- Respect confidentiality. Do not share personal stories, sensitive discussions, draft proposals, or unpublished work outside the SIG without permission.
- Example: Ask the original contributor before reposting their content or comments elsewhere.
- Act with integrity. Credit contributors, acknowledge sources, and avoid misinformation or misrepresentation.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive environment free from harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or personal attacks.
- Comply with TRC Privacy and Platform Usage Terms when participating in Padlet or other SIG spaces.
If concerns arise, TRC moderators may:
- Provide a friendly reminder or clarification.
- Request modification or removal of inappropriate content.
- Pause participation in a discussion or activity.
- Escalate repeated or serious concerns to TRC leadership.
- Suspend or remove participation in cases of persistent misconduct, harassment, confidentiality breaches, or behavior that undermines community safety.
Our goal is to foster a trusted, respectful, collaborative community where learning, innovation, and resilience can thrive.
