From Myth, to Struggle, to Change: The Realities of Co-Designing Digital Mental Health solution for and with Frontline Health Workers

This paper reflects on the process and complexities of co-designing a digital mental health solution named "MANSI" for frontline health workers (FLWs). The project aimed to address the high risk of distress, burnout, and mental health challenges faced by FLWs, which are critical to achieving the goal of "healthy lives and well-being for all at all ages". The paper advocates for sustained stakeholder alignment and involvement in creating scalable digital mental health interventions for FLWs, offering insights for future participatory models in low- and middle-income settings.
